El Principio

Las Bridas Umlauf consisten de dos unidades cubiertas con una capa elástica. Una unidad está acomodada por encima y otra por abajo de la tira. Estos guían y transportan la tira linealmente, sin ninguna desviación, en diferentes posiciones dentro de la línea de proceso de las tiras.

Aplicando la fuerza sobre un área – y no concentrada en un solo punto – cualquier concentración local de fuerzas o movimientos relativos entre la unidad y la superficie de la tira se elimina. Por lo tanto, no existe riesgo de daño en la superficie, haciendo a esta tecnología la más adecuada para superficies delicadas.
